Incomprehensible

Life is going to hell in a hand basket.

How does this happen?

Karen,

Sadly, this has happened in Florida at least a dozen times in the last 5 years. And you know what actions are taken against the unforgivable negligence of the parents?

None. That's correct, nothing is done. A child is dead, and the parent responsible is NOT held accountable.

Makes me want to kick the %$#& out of some people in the worst way.

Our District Attorney will "investigate" and determine this to be an "accident" and NOTHING will happen to the so-called parents. But...how can you lose track of a 4-year-old for 17 hours? No one fed him dinner. No one gave him a bath. No one helped him brush his teeth. No one put him in his jammies and read him a story. No one tucked him in. And no one wondered where he was for breakfast!

Outrageous!!

Remember the movie "Parenthood" ?

Keanau Reeves had a line: "You need a license to hunt, a license to fish, and a license to drive. But any A-hole can be your father."

It IS an outrage...made even worse by not bringing consequences down upon - as you said - "so-called parents."
