Our Saturday morning walk to Starbucks included 27 pieces of trash. Sam documented each of them.

King's Fish House
Saturday afternoon brings us to lunch at King's Fish House. The kids didn't want to come so Mike and I had a date, ate good seafood and drank beer.

Mannheim Steamroller
On Friday, May 2nd, Mike and I went to the Mannheim Steamroller concert at the Henderson Pavilion. We booked really good seats which were blocked by a projector so they reseated us elsewhere. I don't think the new seats were as good, but the music was, so we were happy.

A Trip to the Chocolate Factory
This is what I saw...
When we arrived, there were only about 10 customers. Then three buses arrived. That's when it got crowded. This is a popular stop on the way to the Hoover Dam Tour. Disappointing this week because all the equipment was being refurbished and there was nothing to see.
These "books" of chocolate turned out to be really good. It's how I used the gift certificate.
If I wanted to, I could buy a cactus to ship home. I didn't want to.
There are plenty of greeting card to choose from as well.

May Day
May Day flowers (a little behind schedule)...
Despite my plumbing disaster, my yard is looking pretty nice.
The jasmine is finally blooming.
The red yucca and angelita daisies are colorful.
Even the lantana is starting to bloom.
I like it when it all blooms at once.
