Run for a Wish - The Cop Connection

Prior to the race, this police recruit was trying to warm up
for the 5K run. His little boy was having none of it.
It was very sweet.I tried to get a shot of the police recruits running in formation,
but this helpful volunteer made it a tough shot.
It's an amazing coincidence that the same recruit ended up in my picture.

There were many celebrities on hand to help with the celebration. Kendall Tenney from the NBC affiliate, KVBC
Las Vegas mayor, Oscar Goodman
Spongebob Squarepants and his handler
Gary the mime.

There was a clown around somewhere.
I don't like clowns so I avoided him.

Run for a Wish

This weekend the kids and I signed up for Kendall Tenney's Run for a Wish to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. The turnout was huge! I would love to know how many people were registered. The atmosphere was fantastic. Fun, friendly, festive, live music and entertainment. And all held at the Town Square Shopping Center.

The kids did what they do prior to the race. Sam leaned on a pole using his phone and Ana paced while using her phone.
